Technicians

Adrienne Jimenez

Adrienne is the head technician at SAH, and has been working there for the past 9 years.  She grew up in North Bergen, N.J.  Adrienne attended Cook College at Rutgers University and graduated with a degree in Anmal Science.    She lives with her seven cats: Shanie, Firehouse, Michael, Bambino, Foxy, Lilly, and Hazel in Bergen County.  While not caring for her cats, Adrienne enjoys going to concerts, movies, and antiques.

Cathy Fraser

Cathy has been a technician at SAH since 1998.  Also a graduate of Cook College, she lives in Jersey City with her 8 cats: Sydney, Heathcliff, Bingi, Little Bit, Holly, BeBe, Doodle, and Winnie.  Cathy also has an ornate box turtle Phoebe and a Yorkshire Terrier named Fonzarelli.  Cathy's interests include cats, wildlife, birdwatching, gardening, music, and movies.

Mona Shimomura

Mona is originally from Camp Springs, Maryland, and has been with SAH intermittently since 1991. We are glad to have her now working with us on a regular basis. Her interests include veterinary technology, computers, and reading.  Raised by a Collie, an Irish Setter, and a Sheltie, Mona has more recently been adopted by a kitty.

Lacey Spiegel

Lacey moved to Secaucus in 1999 from Nutley, N.J.  She is one of our newest employees, having worked at SAH since August 2003.  SAH's coffee girl has a soft spot for orphaned bunnies and baby birds.  While not at work, Lacey enjoys playing guitar, singing, drawing, and writing music.  She can be found hanging out in her old stomping ground of Nutley or in Clifton.  Metal and classic rock are among Lacey's music interests.  Lacey's family has a chubby shepard mix named Anya.  She hopes to move out and acquire a small petting zoo of her own.

Marina Stricker

Marina joined Secaucus Animal Hospital in the fall of 2005.  She was born and raised in Buenos Aires Argentina and enjoyed regular visits to the family's farm.  These visits helped fuel her early passion for animals. In addition to working at SAH, Marina has volunteered at the Liberty Humane Society shelter in Jersey City for the past three years. Marina currently lives in North Bergen with her husband Marc, daughter Paulina, son Julian, dog Olivia, and three cats: Bianca, Penelope, and Ramon.

Anthony Smentkowski:  Anthony is a resident of Secaucus and has been a valuable asset at SAH  since 1994.  He is also a volunteer firefighter for the Secaucus Fire Department.

Chris

Chris is our newest technician.  He just started over the summer and is now a full time technician.  He loves his new job and plans to go to school and become a certified veterinary technician.  Chris enjoys punk rock and metal, and is interested in videogames and anime.
