-
Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures including: spays, neuters, tumor removals, cystotomies to remove bladder stones, gastrotomies, intestinal resection and anastomoses to remove foreign bodies and intestinal tumors, splenectomies, abdominal exploratories and urethrostomies. We do NOT perform any type of elective declaw surgery (onychectomy). We do have an on call board-certified surgeon available to perform orthopedic surgeries such as cruciate repair, patella luxation surgery, and fracture pinning and plating.
-
Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Prescreen bloodwork is recommended on all surgical patients to evaluate liver and kidney function and anesthestic protocols are tailored to the individual patient. All patients are intubated and isoflurane gas anesthesia is used. Our patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
-
Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and oral surgery. We have recently started offering a new sealant called Oravet, designed to help your pet's dental cleaning last even longer.
-
Cutting-edge technology: Our practice has a tonopen to measure intraocular pressure for glaucoma screening, elelectrocardiography, and blood pressure monitoring equipment to assess your pets' cardiovascular health.

Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
