       The Secaucus Animal Hospital Staff and Jean Caliguire would like to thank Mr. Andres Aportela and Franka the Search and Rescue Dog for their help in finding our lost cat.  Franka immediately picked up her scent and found where our cat was hiding in under half an hour.  Franka's intelligent mind and diligent work are incredible and Andres' handling is wonderful.  He was just as amazing last time we needed his help when our hospital cat Rocky escaped.  He and his dog Ralf had found him for us.  Andres' and his dogs' help is as always, greatly appreciated!!!

       Andres and Franka are from Professional Canine Center, The Europian Academy for Dogs and Trainers.  They do Schutzhund and Police Dog Training, and offer help in Search and Rescue missions.  They also breed companion dogs.

Will you be travleing this summer and worried about where your pet will stay while you are away?  We offer boarding for both cats and dogs.  All pets should be up-to-date on their vaccinations; if the vaccines were given at another hospital, please bring proof of vaccination. We accept pets for drop off and pick up during normal business hours.  We also board special-needs pets or pets on medications. Ask a receptionist for more information.

The Secaucus Animal Hospital  is proud to announce  that we have passed our recent AAHA inspection and have been certified for three more years!  It was a rigorous inspection but it is important to us that our hospital meets the standards established by AAHA.
